(Christchurch) Members' Night No 01: Creative Use of Depth of Field

For the first of our members evenings we have our Chairman Steve Baldwin giving us a talk on depth of field and how to use it creatively in our photographs.  There will some practical exercises so bring your cameras and tripods if you have one. You will be able to take part if you are using a smartphone camera.  If using a DSLR or mirrorless camera then a 24-105mm zoom would be ideal.  There will also be an exercise for using macro lens if you have one.  If you have a lens with a maximum aperture of f2.8 that would be preferable.
